One who gardens at night keeps going. This title comes to mind while I witness people doing beautiful, resilient things during difficult times. In the nocturnal underground our roots grow. We care and cultivate- we continue.

I would wager that all of us have been stretched to our limits as chaos and dissonance push against the boundaries of our peaceful gardens. At times it is unclear what actions make a difference. Beneath the wilted compost of decay, the possibility of a tenacious and thriving bouquet still exists. 

Small actions build the whole. New realities begin with an idea- a seed. We are the planters. What is watered thrives. We reap what we sew. Choosing to nurture through a nighttime of challenge we emerge season after season. Wild, tangling, stronger.
